Beaches on the west side of the island
- BEACH OF THE SETTLEMENT: The ideal beach for the first dip of the day, or relax enjoying the magnificent sunset against the backdrop of the port of Agios Efstratios. Take your soft drinks or coffee and lie down under the umbrellas placed by the municipality..
- MOUROULIA: The beach is only twenty minutes away from the settlement and no car is required. Wonderful beach with fine pebbles.
- ARKARI: The beach is an extension of the beach of the settlement and access is on foot – The beach is pebble, while there are umbrellas placed by the municipality.
- AGIOS DIMITRIOS: Access is by car (5km), via rural road (dirt road) – The beach is a sandy beach mixed with fine, black volcanic pebbles while there are trees that offer shade to visitors.
- FTELIO: Access to the beach is by car via a dirt road about 9km. Sandy beach mixed with fine, black volcanic pebbles while there is natural shade.
- FRAGKOU: Access to the beach by car (distance about 11.5km), via rural road (dirt road) – Sandy beach mixed with fine, black volcanic pebbles.
- AGIOS ANTONIOS: Access to the beach by car via rural road – dirt road – (6km). Crystal clear waters with fine pebbles.
- GOURNIA: Access is mainly by boat. There is also the possibility of access by car where there is a livestock facility (farm) and you should continue for a short walk. – The beach is with fine pebbles. Total distance 12km.
- LIDARIO: Access by car (9km), rural road construction (dirt road) – sand mixed with fine, black volcanic pebbles & natural shade.
- TRIGARI: Access to the beach is by car and then you will need to walk a distance of about five minutes. And this beach is with fine pebbles.
- TRIPITI: Sandy beach mixed with fine black, volcanic pebbles. Access is by car, at the end of the route there is a livestock facility (farm). There you will continue on foot for about ten minutes.
- AGIOS NIKOLAOS: The beach is located between Ftelio and Gournia beaches. Access is on foot through Gournia beach and about a fifteen minute walk.
Beaches on the east side of the island
- GERAKOFOLIA: Access to the beach by car via rural road. Beautiful pebble beach.
- ΑΛΟΝΙΤΣΙ: Access to the beach via rural road. A beautiful pebble beach, for those who prefer them.
- ΝΕΡΑΚΙ: The beach is with fine pebbles and access can only be done by boat.
